Your seat is taken. Thank you.
Stripe has emailed a receipt to the address you paid with; the link in it manages or cancels the plan. The first morning email goes to that same address at 6am Central on the next day new filings appear. A person sets that up, so allow one working day — and if the second morning passes with nothing, write to hello@vcspine.com and we will fix it that day.
To pick your firms, paste them into Your list and press Watch with the address you paid with — or reply to any morning email with their names.
The list of firms due to raise is free, and so is every firm page and every filing — the filings on a seven-day delay. Paying buys the two things where time and completeness are the whole value: one person who needs each day’s filings at 6am rather than a week later, and a company selling to venture funds that needs the whole book — its clients, its competitors’ clients, and the funds that have no provider yet.

Morning seat
$99/mo
per person, month to month, leave whenever
- Your firms, watched. Paste the firms you cover into Your list; your email opens with the ones that moved
- Every new fund filing at 6am, the day it appears — not seven days later
- A firm entering its raise window, the morning it does
- Each new fund with the firm’s administrator and auditor on file from Form ADV — or marked as a first fund with none yet

For one person whose job is to reach a fund before the mandate is decided — fund administration, fund banking, audit, D&O, portfolio monitoring, placement. Covering a whole book across a team? Write to hello@vcspine.com.
Already have a seat? Manage or cancel it — it stops at the end of the month you have paid for.
Provider desk
$499/mo
per company, month to month
- Your book, scored. Every venture firm that names you on its latest Form ADV — flagged where one has just raised, and where one has been quiet four years or more
- Your competitors’ books, by name, scored the same way
- The open pool, daily. New funds whose Form D is filed and which no Form ADV lists yet — including first-time managers with no administrator at all
- As CSV, by API, or straight into Claude, ChatGPT or your CRM through our MCP server — 10,000 calls a day
For fund administrators, auditors, fund banks and law firms selling to venture funds. What we do not claim: we do not predict switching. 86% of new funds keep the administrator the firm already uses. What you are buying is the timing and the completeness, not a prophecy.
Say which company you are and the first month comes back the same day, free, so you can check it against what you already know.

Questions people ask before paying
- What exactly is the seven-day delay?
- A fund files its Form D, we read it that night, and it appears on the free feed and in the free email seven days later. A seat gets the same filing at 6am the morning after it is filed. Firm pages, the raise-window list and every historical figure are free with no delay at all.
- Can I cancel?
- Yes, from the link in any receipt or the manage link in the email footer. It stops at the end of the month you have paid for; we do not pro-rate and we do not ask why.
- How current is the provider data?
- Form ADV is filed once a year, and our copy runs to August 2026. Every provider we show carries the date of the filing it came from, so you can see how old it is. A firm that has not filed since then shows its last known provider, dated.
- Do you predict which firms will switch administrator?
- No. We measured it: 86% of new funds use an administrator the firm already uses, and a firm raising a fund is only about 1.3× more likely to switch than one that is not. What we sell is knowing which funds exist, who serves them, and which ones no Form ADV lists yet — a median of 212 days before it does.
- Where does this data come from, and can I republish it?
- SEC Form D and Form ADV, both public records in the public domain. The filings are yours to use. What is ours is the resolution work — 53,722 vehicles into {8,590} firms, the merges, the exclusions and the signals — so a seat or a desk is for one company’s own use. Redistribution inside your own product is a conversation: write to us.
- What if a number about my firm is wrong?
- Write to hello@vcspine.com and we correct it against the filing, usually the same day. If the filing itself is wrong, we say so on the page rather than quietly changing it.
What you are paying for
Not the filings. Those are public, free, and anyone can download them — that is the point of a public record. The work is everything between the filing and the answer: 56,327 filed vehicles resolved into 8,590 firms, 33,683 single-deal SPVs and every feeder separated from real funds so that a total means something, a curated layer of judgements no rule produces — that Insight Partners is a venture firm although it has never once ticked the venture box on a Form D, and that EnCap Energy Capital is not, however many times its funds have ticked it — and the signals computed on top of all of it.
You are also paying for it to arrive before it is useful to everyone else. A fund formation is public the day it is filed and obvious to the market months later. The seven-day line is where we put the difference.
Definitions and limits says what every number means and where the data is weakest.
